Crash Bash - Mallet Mash: Accuracy: 7/10 Quality: 16/20 Comments: Good quality samples, decently accurate. Missing a fair bit of the panning going on in the original, and I do think the trumpets could've done with being a lot more stabby like the original. --- F-Zero Maximum Velocity - Ending Credits: Accuracy: 9/10 Quality: 13/20 Comments: The recreation of this is highly accurate, but at the same time it sounds so empty because there's no echo going on. If it had that, this one would be absolutely fantastic. --- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Battle Tendancy - Bloody Stream: Accuracy: 6/10 Quality: 9/20 Comments: The volume balance here is upsetting, and some parts are just downright messy compared to the original. I also question some of the sample choices here. --- Mario Kart DS - Rainbow Road: Accuracy: 9/10 Quality: 16/20 Comments: This one sounds great. I can hear so many little intricacies in this, and I'm happy to see so much effort went into getting this one so close to spot-on. Could've benefitted from a tiny bit of echo, but that is nothing but a tiny nitpick on this one. --- Megaman Battle Network - Running in the Cyber World: Accuracy: 6/10 Quality: 6/20 Comments: Eh. It's SMW samples, and not their best use either, but it sounds passable. Could've used a snare that actually stood out, and that bass could've been turned down an octave as well. --- Paper Mario - Goomba Road: Accuracy: 6/10 Quality: 12/20 Comments: Could've done with a bit less echo, considering its thematic purpose. You're missing the volume changes on stuff like the snare in the intro, and missing appropriate panning in places. Decent overall, though. --- Pokemon DPP - Lake: Accuracy: 8/10 Quality: 15/20 Comments: You're a bit too fast on your tempo there, I think? Some of it sounds a little quirky at times, but this is a very nicely done recreation overall. --- Pokemon RSE - Littleroot Town: Accuracy: 9/10 Quality: 5/20 Comments: All the differences between high and low samples is jarring. Accurate, but the samples need an awful amount of reworking. --- Sonic 4 Episode I - Splash Hill Zone Act 1: Accuracy: 8/10 Quality: 9/20 Comments: Simple song, fairly basic implementation. Nothing to really say other than it's a little bland sounding. --- Sonic Mania - Mirage Saloon: Accuracy: 9/10 Quality: 16/20 Comments: This one's really, really nice. Would've been even nicer if you decided to use more samples than just the hihats, but this is really clever implementation of a lot of the default SMW samples. --- Summon Night - A Formidable Enemy Appears: Accuracy: 5/10 Quality: 10/20 Comments: Cool idea with the samples, but it feels weak and the melodies seem to get lost sometimes with the way you ported this. --- Touhou 8 - Gensokyo Millenium: Accuracy: 9/10 Quality: 17/20 Comments: Pretty well done overall, with faithful sample choices to the original. Some things could have been done a little bit better, like piano ADSRs, but that's a tiny nitpick for something that already tried its hardest to be as faithful as it could to Touhou music within 8 channels.
