Custom Music: Submission Rules 1. The port must be submitted as a ".zip" file, containing both the song's TXT and an up-to-date SPC. 2. All ports must function properly in BSNES. No breaking echo, or bad ADSR. 3. AddMusic 4.05 ports require a header at the top of the TXT. Refer to the "Readit.txt" provided with AddMusic 4.05 for more information. 4. AddMusic 4.05 ports require a 240ms moment of silence (approximately "t48 r8") before the song starts. This allows the echo buffer to clear out. 5. If the port is relatively large, looping patterns in the port must be attempted to some extent. 6. BNK-Sampled ports require a functional .bnk file along with the SPC and TXT. 7. BRR-Sampled ports require a folder with all the BRRs used for the song, as well as a sample blist.txt. 8. Submitting music that someone else made requires proof to some extent. 9. It would be really nice if you could mention if whether port was intended for AddMusic405/AddMusicM, and if it is a Level/OW track. 10. SPCs must have their ID666 Tags filled out. Fill out as much information as possible. More information on that here: http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewthread&t=55262 10a. If you do not have a supported operating system, the rules still apply. ID666 tags can also be edited with a hex editor. Instructions on how to do that is stated here: http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewthread&t=59359 If you do not want to do that, please find someone to take care of the tools for you, or consider running a different OS through a virtual machine like WINE.
